Spinosaurus Tooth Half
One of the most mysterious and beloved animals of the cretaceous is the Spinosaurus! Hailing from Africa these semi-aquatic creatures were large carnivores that prowled rivers and seas.

Full Spinosaurus Tooth
While many teeth have been found the skeleton of Spinosaurus is relatively rare! One of the earliest complete skeletons was discovered by German paleontologist in 1912 and sadly was destroyed in the allied bombings of Berlin during World War 2.

Large Spinosaurus Tooth
This partially cristalized spinosaur tooth is the largest tooth in our collection! Spinosaurus was a very large animal and their teeth come in various sizes ranging from small to quite large!

Maiasaura Vertebrae
A large hadrosaur hailinf from norht america this gentle giant has been found in massive herds with many infant fossils along side earning it the nickname The Good Mother Dinosaur.
Fun Fact: This speices has the honor of being one of the first fossils flown to space! Early Space Lab missions by NASA included fragments hauled into space by an astronaut from Montana!

Carcharodontosaurus Tooth
A large theropod that lived alongside Spinosaurus. This titan is renowned for their serrated teeth and bulky body that indicates they were a powerhouse of carnivorous furry!

Apatosaur Caudal Vertebrae
One of the largest animals ever to walk our planet the titanic Apatosaur was a herbivore sauropod hailing from the Morison formation in the south west united states! This vertebrae is actually considered small as fossils from full grown Apatosaurs can be about one foot in length!
Fun Fact: Our director once ended up in the hospital after pulling several muscles in his stomach from trying to move a large Apatosaur vertebrae!

Spikey Coprolite One
Everything fossilizes! This is a special fossil known as a coprolite. It is fossilized dinosaur poop!

Shrimp
Another family of survivors this shrimp fossil hails from the end of the dinosaurs in the cretaceous!

Dawn Readwood
This delicate leaf comes from the cretaceous and is an example of a dawn redwood! It illustrates the amazing details that are preserved in fossils.

Full Crinoid
One of the oldest fossils in our collection from the age of the dinosaurs this fluttering crinoid hails from the dawn of the dinosaurs the Triassic!

Unknown UK Theropod Vertebrae
This vertebrae is no bigger than a quarter but it once belonged to a mighty theropod dinosaur in the middle cretaceous! Discovered in the United Kingdom this small piece of prehistoric history is a representation of how dinosaurs came in all shapes and sizes
