Large Replicated Trilobite
This trilobite may look like a real fossil but its actually a well crafted fake! Many fossils of trilobites of this size are actually detailed replicas that have been meticulously constructed to resemble a real fossil!

Large Trilobite Death Plate
These beautifully preserved trilobites are arranged in intricate ways almost emulating their life on the sea floor. Trilobites were a large group of animals that existed in the seas long before the dinosaurs walked on land. While they no longer exist their modern day cousins Horseshoe Crabs still scuttle along the sea floor!

Small Trilobite Death Plate
Trilobites came in all shapes and sizes from small pea sized critters to giants! They were one of the most common forms of life on the planet and are even today some of the most collected fossils!

Sea Scorpion
Sharing the earth alongside the trilobite was the giant sea scorpion! A terrifying creature that hunted in the seas and served as one of the earliest predators on earth!

A Frozen Reef
This chunk of limestone from the banks of the Mississippi River perfectly captures a slice of the aquatic world. Criss crossed with shells from various filter feeders it is an amazing example of the power of fossilization.

Crinoid Head
While this fossil is a little confusing the bumpy bulbus object is a section of a crinoid head. Resembling a flower this invertebrate is actually a relative of the starfish! Despite the multiple extinctions that have occurred throughout this family's life this majestic sea creature continues to thrive in our oceans today!

Larger Brachiopod
While the exact date of this brachiopods existence is unknown to us this magnificent shellfish is about the size of an apple and represents the difference in size that brachiopods can be found in.
